I hope today is going to be a slow day, because I'm tired after having a house guest for three days and then yesterday's full day of tests and scans. Not that I don't love having a visitor, I do, but it is still tiring.
Even though I have a whole backlog of things that need attention, I am going to limit myself to two or three: making some earrings for Charmed Bracelets, walking Constant the Wonder Dog, and doing a bit of housework (just a bit ... but the house is still in full Christmas mode).
Pain
I have some pain I've been ignoring for a few weeks now--could be arthritis (no big deal), could be bone mets that are getting frisky with me not getting any chemo--and I decided yesterday that it was time to stop ignoring this.
So I called Dr. Lee the First's office and chatted with one of his nurses. I now have a bone scan scheduled for tomorrow.
I know: After all the scans this week I will be glowing a pale shade of green, not to mention the possibility of starting a NEW cancer, but I do need to know.
The pain is in my pelvis, where I have a fracture that never healed after a met there was radiated. It could be that all the exercise I've been getting lately has made it hurt, but ...
Yeah. Life with cancer.

I hope the scan goes well today and that it comes back clean. Hang in there!

Hi Jeanne,
I just wanted to let you know that I started a blog (which I probably should have done when I was first diagnosed so that I could remember the many aspects of my treatment.) You have inspired me to do this. I read your blog every day and wish you the very best for 2010.
