I would also suggest that she contact her local news agencies and newspapers to air this story, if possible. It is amazing what a little pressure will do sometimes.

I hope that she gets the treatment she needs and deserves. Stories like this make me so very angry and frustrated.

Oh, yeah. Get the news involved. Rallied consumer outrage can be very persuasive. I wish her the best. My friend was lucky enough to be covered for the targeted radiation and it made all the difference.

My insurance company also denied a procedure for me and I had to appeal to get them to cover it. I was also told that going to news agencies and being as public as possible is a way to get approved. I wish her the best.
