If It Quacks Like a ... Quack: UPDATE
Australia's The Age reports today that the federal court imposed an injunction on Paul Rana and his two sons to stop them from selling their $35,000 alternative therapy.
The injuction remains in place until the court makes a decision in the case, according to The Age. The Ranas' Web sites are still open for business, however, as of 5 p.m. Pacific Time, December 1. Maybe the Australian judges need lessons in Web surfing?
I just checked again today, December 16, and Paul Rana's Web site is still up and running, despite the court order. I e-mailed the Australian newspaper, The Age, weeks ago asking them about this, but no reply.
Am I surprised Paul Rana/Ohehir is a quack? Nope it does not surprise me because i knew him and his con artist family when they were powder coaters, sandblasters, emu farmers and much more. Over the years I have tried to have this man put behind bars and now it may actually happen, unfortunately it is too late for some people and for them I am saddened but I hope now that more people will not suffer from the pain of this nasty family.

Hi Jeanne,
I have no idea, I do know that the ACCC telephoned me this morning for information to try to put him and his sons behind bars. I just hope they do not over look his wife as she is probably the nastiest person I have ever met, I am in Victoria ( East Gippsland )and have known Paul and his family for years, he has left a trail of bankruptcies and debts in his wake. The only reason Paul Ohehir is in anything is for the money. He has nothing to offer any person who is ill at all.

my brother john mellios died on 18th january 2006 of pancreatic cancer.
article in the age newspaper (vic)titled "why were we billed$10.000.00....."
googe paul rana and the article will show up.
on tuesday the 6th of february i attended the federal court, hoping that a judgement would occur, but case adjourned till march 27th i believe. i shall attend on that day.
am interested on hearing your point of view.
this snake oil man does indeed need to be placed under arrest along with all his family.
i also agree that his wife should certainly NOT be excluded.
looking forward to hearing from you.
p/s i too do not understand why the site is operating if he is and his company is in liquidation.

i'ts been achieved. ACCC finally caught up with paul rana at nuera health (ain't nothing healthy about him) read the latest report from the federal court(Vic) and the ACCC.
what a pity that he didn't show up for his judgement, but then again he must have known how it was going to turn out. even his legal reps abandoned him. must have been a dispute regarding finances.
there should be a register with all these fraudster's names and alias.
to his daughter's and enormous thanks and to all the others who assisted in this legal battle.
and to you jeanne for publishing you story and putting a positive spin on this illness called cancer.

Hi all,
Thought you would be interested to know that Paul Rana is being held in custody for sentencing in Mid Feb. Merry Christmas Paul - it great news for me to know that you can't do some damage to people for a little while at least!
